Results and findings from these early studies were considered popular due to the assumed efficiency and objectivity of research methods employ in mental science. In plus to a more active pursuant of cross-cultural psychological research, dissatisfaction with Western psychology also inspired interest on indigenisation. Indigenisation of psychology is a continuous process of evaluation and rewrite of the school of thought and practice of psychology in accordance with the limited involve of a particular society and culture (Sinha, 1997; Khaleefa, 2008).
